I was at this music convention called NAMM down in Anaheim California(trying to preach the greatness of karaoke on winamp to karaoke executives)

I was outside giving a demo of our plugin to Chris Cofini, Marketing director of Pocket Songs karaoke when he paused really fast and said, "Woah, I think there's someone famous coming out of the show!"

I turned and looked, there was a bunch of security guys, camera people, and just groupies crowding around the exit. Then out walks Gene. "You gotta get a picture of me next to him!" I just so happened to have a video camera on me, so I turned it on and hit record.

I think Gene's greatness scared Chris a bit, because he seemed unable to get any closer than 10 feet from him.

Anyways, got the shot, here it is for your viewing pleasure.

I'll bet anything Gene would have said yes. Many rock-n-rollers like him live for their fans.

He wouldn't want to come off as an asshole in front of that many people either. It'd be cool to get a picture with him with both your tongues sticking out:up:
