"SAVE" on Shoutcast Server sc_serv
 

I am trying to set up an audio only stream, and am not sure I have received the right software for the the DNAS Shoutcast Server. In addition to the possible SAVE problem, where I find no SAVE tab under "Edit Config, sc_serv - notepad, which has only FILE, EDIT, FORMAT and HELP - no SAVE,a moderator on this forum said "Start the DNAS (start>shoutcast DNAS>shoutcast DNAS)" but I find no way to START SHOUTCAST, if he is talking about some button you click on.

I also am curious about how I find an address for listeners to access my stream - if I ever get it working. I am not listed on Shoutcast yet. If my free websites do not have a domain names listed somewhere, and I have no IP number, can I still have listeners acces my audio stream?

Again, the current forum you are posting in is for Nullsoft Video Streaming, NOT Shoutcast Audio Streaming.

Notepad "Save" is under the File menu.

RUn SHOUTcast from the directory you installed it into (C:\Program Files\Shoutcast usually)
