|

|
YES - that was MY new record! :D
That have been 15 USB HD's on 4USB Ports with each 4 USB-Hubs. The last USB port was used by the mouse :D 6x 500GB 3x 320GB 1x 160GB 2x 120GB 1x 80GB 2x 40GB ----------- 4520 GB |
The question is, what's the point?, even if you played every track once without taking a break for sleep, eating and anything else real life might throw at you it'd still take you how long to hear them all?

Some people are collectors rather than users.
Maybe he's collecting all the music in the world. |
Even a million would only be scratching the surface.
Then, there's all the material on the 'net (unsigned bands and the like). Point aside, it'd be nice if he could get it all on a CD and ship it. :D |
have u albums or one folder with ~900000 files?
btw respect! |

hobby is a good name for it!
|
have u got duplicate entries?
|
There must be duplicate entries (greatest hits, compilations etc), and given that he has 15 x HD's, it can't all be tucked away in one folder (imagine that). :D
|
sorry, I forgot about that

The good news is that once he's reached his goal, he'll also have another record..."Most magnetic media storage capacity on a home computer network, at 951 yottabytes." :p |
...you have ~900.000 mp3s.
one CD contains ~15 tracks -> 60.000 Albums -> one album costs ~10$ You must have paid over 600.000$ for CDs!! have u won a lottery? |
Isn't it great, the way music doubles up as data. :D
