I was there for the Fark photoshop contest that came from. Lukket made that pic, it's actually a museum mock-up of a submarine. It was in the news a few times in the following weeks because a lot of people thought it was real.

At least it's more readable than C and its offspring. :p

Oh, you can do great things with Fortran. (I learned it in college myself.) But imagine the average home user having to write Fortran programs in order to use their computer. Imagine your grandmother having to learn Fortran, for instance, just so she can walk over to the steering wheel and navigate to her favorite website for porcelain collectibles. :p

the floor set tv hanging off the wall sort of gives it away, but yea computer history does as well.
