.Pls file and Actavation
 

How do I make or get the .pls file that lets people tune in and when i logon into the web interface it says the server is down.... what shuld i do?

http://myip:port/lisen.pls nothing happens please help!

first off chill.. forums are not in real time.

Your server is down? umm that means you have the server running if you get the page, but you do not have the DSP/trancoder sending the server any mp3 data.

You need both running (Shout cast server) and DSP.

You need to be connected to the server when you open the DNAS page, Or else it will say server is down.

The .pls file is a direction based in the program... basically (from my understanding) it tells sc_serv that it has a listener, and it processes the request for data from there.

It is not an actual file (Someone please correct me if I am not accurate) but it is a necessary part of the url.
