In the playlist, the "add directory", would it be possible to incorporate "remember last directory used" function?

Second that
I too have been rather annoyed with Winamp switching to completely new folders that (for the most part) don't even have sounds in them. Before version 2.666 came out i never had problems with this but even with 2.71, every single time i go to add to the playlist it sends me to a subfolder deep within the windows directory. Typically I am sent to C:\Windows\System. I can reproduce this anytime i want by just adding a file.
I run on an AMD K6-2, 400Mhz, 96MB RAM, Windows 98 SE |
It sends you to Windows\System? I would've expected something like C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\???????? (e.g. C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\ASD9X0T8).

I've had this problem with 2.666 also
it's when you ADD>DIR if I'm not mistaken. The file requester that pops up acts like it is remembering the last directory I chose, but it really isn't. Yes, it is highlighting windows/system or some other annoying folder that has NO music in it nor did I ever choose it previously. This bug is gone in the last two builds of winamp i've used since 2.666 PS did you get any flak for the v2.666 having those sixes in it? I would've thought a ton of godheads would've make a ruckus. |
i get defaulted to my desktop directory when i hit "add dir". i've never added any mp3's from there either.
and yes, some people shit golden bricks over the 2.666 version number. then everyone else laughed at them. it was fun. |
