reading metadata

i'm having a small issue with 5.2 and above. my collection of mp3s is organized by filename (artist - album - track - title) -- but i also keep the id3 tags for when i transfer to a mobile device or something. when playing music thru winamp in the past, i've always disabled reading of the metadata in the playlist/media library by going to the mpeg audio decoder (input plugin) and used %filename% in the Title/Tags tab. now there is no option, just blank space with a couple checkboxes that i don't really care about.

is there any way around this? i tried using the advanced title formatting (titles in general preferences) with %filename% but that shows the directory along with the filename.

any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

For ATF, try using $filepart(%filename%) instead.
