LimeWire and Winamp Compatibility

Hey guys...

I downloaded about 100 songs on LimeWire last night. I can play them on the LimeWire player. But when I try to play them on Winamp it gives me a "DirectSound Error" and says I should download some codec's or something? But doesnt give me a link.

This is sooo frustrating!

I'm pretty sure I've listened to songs on my Winamp from LimeWire before. And movies work fine.

Anyone know whats wrong and how to fix it??

Much obliged.

You've gotta tell us what the file extension for the songs are.

Perhaps your version of Winamp doesn't have the proper codec to play the song file you downloaded.
