I'm not sure if this belongs here, but I think it does, because I'm trying to figure out how to skin the inside of the minibrowser.

According to http://members.nbci.com/wsdskins/skinning/mikroamp.html

if you have mikroamp you can put your own html file in the minibrowser window. I can't get that to work.

Instead, my minibrowser automatically loads www.skinmaster.co.uk, no matter what skin I'm using.

I've also got the skinmaker from the same site. (Haven't used it yet, though.) Is there I way I can make it stop loading that page and skin the window like I'm supposed to be able to?

Hmmm.....you've gotten out your notepad and made a file with all of your html information you want on it....and you've saved it with the name of winampmb.txt....and you've saved it in the specific folder for your skin? And it still doesn't work? What version of MikroAMP are you using?

Ok some people are experiencing trouble with this.

When you are on-line MikroAMP goes to skinmaster.co.uk for some shameless self promotion.

If you are off line it will load the skinmaster page for some shameless self promotion, except as you change skin, as you change skin then it will load the file in the program instead.

It's a bit annoying for development, but I like to promote my site.

Try this too:

So mikroamp doesn't really let me skin the inside of the minibrowser, it just sends me to your site automatically except for the split second between skins?

Switch to Baseskin... Skinmaster.
Switch back to my skin...My page.

Yeah when you are offline it's skinned nicely for your skin, Online, shameless self promotion.

I like shameless self promotion, but obviously skinners don't so much. But MikroAMP is more about the user facilities than the small enhancement to the skinning facilities.
