Okay, here's the deal.

I've got a skin. Frankly I think it incredibly sucks, but I wanted to see it rated though 'cos I'm vain.

And so, I've filled the uploading dialog... but it kinda protests.

When I hit the BROWSE button next to the resource address text box, I select a WSZ file and click COMMIT. The dialog appears again and yells at me:

ERROR Component names may only contain a combination of letters and numbers.

And what else have you seen there, lil' bastard?! Astronauts?!

ERROR Error encountered while creating new files.

^$*^$&^.

ERROR The component file you have uploaded is not a valid skin archive

WTF?! It is! I *swear* it is!

That's the deal. PLease, what am I doing wrong?!

Oh and if this happens to be the wrong place to talk about this just yell at me and accept my apologies.

What's the name of your skin? Also, is the skin you're trying to submit an upgrade or edit of a previous skin (if it's an upgrade, the skins have to have the same name)....or is this the first time you've tried to submit this particular skin? http://forums.winamp.com/ubb/smile.gif
