Winamp's volume controlling my system's volume.
 

Before I go on, please excuse me if this problem has been posted before. I've read through the FAQ's and searched the forums, but I'm not going to go through 282 pages of threads for "volume."

It started happened a few weeks ago, and I can't find the problem, or why it even started. If you can't judge by the title of this thread, the problem is that if I adjust my volume in Winamp, it affects my system volume.

I'm just wondering how to fix it, and what caused it in the first place.

If it matters, I'm on Windows XP SP2, using Winamp v5.21.

Preferences > Plugins > Output
Select DirectSound.
