External Hard Drives? Help!

Is there any way for Winamp to show my music collection from an exteral hard drive in the media library the way it does for my IPOD? I use my laptop to rock out at work but can only play music from my IPOD and I don't have any music on the laptop itself. I would like to be able to plug in my exteral hard drives and my music appear the same as it does for the IPOD. I do not want to add music to the laptop hard drive. Is there any way to do this? Please help me rock!

Ok, I figured it out. Does this add files to my laptop hard drive when I do this or does it just list them and play from my external drive? Also, is there a way to display ALL songs from my IPOD and all songs from external drive in one list without clicking differnt folders in Winamp? Thanks for any help you guys can give!

It shouldn't add any of the files to your actual laptop. I keep all my music on my external HDD and winamp just plays the songs for it. The only problems that I have with it is that it recognizes my external HDD as an iPod. It'd be cool if they made a 140GB iPod.
