Winamp Unicode 100% full support
Let's see. The problem I'm having is that my winamp can't read japanese/chinese/korean name's music. I wonder why this program has that much problems with languages, Winamp is so famous and developers don't know still how to solve lang problems?. Or maybe they don't really want? (maybe two versions, one of them unicode?). But all this problem isn't because of programmers of programs, it's because of Windows. Bill Gates is silly, and he didn't implemented Unicode system (or maybe there's a reason I don't know? in such case, I would want him to explain it...). If he did force to all programmers to use unicode, we wouldn't have these kind of problems....as Linux does....
P.D: I very wish new Windows is 100% unicode-only, because Winamp isn't the only program I'm having problems with, as you can guess. I have pics with chinese/japanese/korean names too, as well as TXT and other things that only very few programs can read... |
