playlist size in MB?
Hi, I'm new to winamp. I have a question, is there ANY way to see how large a playlist is in MB rather than only time lenght? (whether it be option in winamp or plugin)
for example, it might be displayed in a place like this: http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/7849/winamp16ph.jpg I'd like to know for making playlists for my 512 MB Ipod. I've looked around everywhere but I can't seem to find it. :hang: Thanks |
What i would do would be create a new folder on your hard drive for the playlist you want to put on your iPod, put all the songs you want on the playlist in there, and then when you're finished just hover your mouse over that folder's icon and it should tell you what the size of the folder is.

I suppose I could do that....or I guess I could use sigh....WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER.
even it has that: http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/9494/winamp27lu.jpg come on, isn't there a way to do this on winamp? |

dynamic library can do this job.
but dynamic library uses its own database so it won't send files to ipod directly. i guess... anyway try it out.:) |
there is a way, i was having the same problem you did, so i came here and found a dead end, so got my brain working.
CTRL+A on your playlist to select all tracks right mouse -> send to: -> add to library access media library through ALT+L under "local media" select "audio" you should have a bar in the middle of media player saying "xxx items [itemtime] [SIZE] hope it helps! cheers |
