i was just wondering how to make my buttons transparent, so that you can still see the background in the main window. i'm new to this so any help would be appreciated. thanks.

You learn how to use paintshop or photoshop.

Use an opacity brush. It's simple.

Or just paste in the buttons as a new layer, and make them with less opacity.
