Ok so Im probably not the first to complain about how Fked up winamp's media library is and I'm sure I wont be the last. What the hell were winamp thinking? The media library these days is as much use as an ashtray on a motor cycle, some would say that this post falls under the same category.. Meh so what.. I used to love winamp and its services but now days your lucky if you can find an online service.

If its not the Tv listings that are down its the radio.. if its not that then the enqueue doesnt work. What happened to the good ol' days when you could fire up winamp and use it?

Please Please Please Please Please Please Dont fix what isnt broken.. there is always room for improvement but theres no room for a buggy media player. I am aware that the media library gets its info from another server but at least the older versions of winamp were reliable in retreiving stations and enqueuing.

I hope the bugz get worked out soon cos I miss winamp :(

It was broken (on the server side, at least). That's why the Winamp devs fixed it. I haven't had any problems with it. It loads quickly and works seamlessly on my craptop.

Winamp's Media Library is *gasp* better than foobar's. Learn to use it.

so far some aol radio stations work (i only use aol radio) and some don't as the site was down today completely, no tv nor radio from winamp. I suspected a DDos attack as sometimes I would almost be connecting to the site like it said waiting for winamp.com, transfering from winamp.com,etc.. but never actually made it to the site. However the DDos theory holds up because of that and no home page saying under construction or whatever nor did firefox nor IE ever tell me the server was unavailable.

so give it time by tomorrow or so winamp should be back in full power.. :)
