Winamp Volume and Windows Volume Control panel
 

Just want to say hello to everyone first..

Ive had this problem before im sure its quite common where once you start playing a song in Winamp its fine but if you touch the Wave/MP3 volume bar on Windows Volume Control panel without moving it the volume in Winamp makes a noticable decrease.

I remember it was one of the Output plugins in Winamp I had to uninstall so that volume in Winamp and Windows were synched properly with no decrease in volume. I just cant remember which plugin was the culprit.

Anyone know how to fix this without uninstalling any of the plugins?

OK Scratch that I fixed it..... my soundcard wasnt selected in Direct Output...

I appologize for for posting when I should have just done my homework and read up on some of the other posts on problems with volume....
