Issue Accessing Some Streams!
 

Hello All,

I have a strange problem accessing some streams while using Winamp 5.22.

Example: I have tried to access several streams from www.di.fm through the Winamp Web site. I can access the stream using one link, while two other links, for the same stream, give the syncing error. Also, I cannot access these streams directly at the di.fm Web site. Bizzarro!

What's strange is that most streams will play, with the exception of a very few...????????

Although, Win Media Player streams will play using Winamp, that's not why I installed Winamp... I wanted the higher bit rate! :p

OS: XP Pro w/SP1
ISP: HughesNet
Firewalls: DW7000 Modem (NAT), Zonealarm (configred correctly), Windows FW (OFF)

Can anyone assist me?

Could you be a bit more specific as to which streams work and which don't? Where are those links to di.fm streams on the Winamp website?
Do you get the same error when you access the streams via the di.fm website? (i.e. error syncing to mpeg?)

Do you have any 3rd-party plugins installed? (especially input plugins like mp3pro)
AAC+ streams won't work when mp3pro is installed.

I've been busy, but I'm back...

I can only find one link for di.fm on the Winamp site, and it does work. See attached image.

I can access several streams from the di.fm site now. Except the ones I like to listen to of course... LOL Still getting the syncing to mpeg error for most.

mp3pro is not installed. The only plug-ins installed are the default set installed with Winamp. Oh wait, I do have streamripper installed, but it's disabled.
