HELP!! Video problems on torrent downloads
I really need the help for something I can't fix!!
Most of the downloaded torrent files are now "Winamp" files as opposed to WMP 11. I don't have a problem with this, though it would be nice if someone could explain how I can import files to WMP which won't touch a Winamp file. BUT, my real problem , after learning how to fix inverted images by changing the Mpeg2 codec, is that the LEFT SIDE, APPROXIMATELY 1/3 OF THE FULL VIDEO SCREEN, HAS A HORIZONTAL LINE CAUSING A DISTORTION ON THE LEFT SIDE. THIS LINE IS COMPRISED OF MANY LINES LIKE THE SCREEN OF A BIG SCREEN TV WHICH STARTS AT LEFT MARGIN AND ENDS 1/3 INTO SCREEN WHERE THE REST IS PERFECT. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ON BOTH THE WMP AND DISTORTION ISSUES? PLEASE!!! Mike |
torrent files isnt very descriptive.
do you know how to set file associations? winamp preferences > filetypes > perhaps you would like audio only. go into wmp > tools > options > file types tab > select video formats (avi, mpg, mpeg) P.S - i have never used winamp for video (so i cant help you with your video problem). I use VLC player for all my video needs. P.P.S - if you have any codec packs installed. please uninstall them. |
