Listening behind a firewall

I am setting up a LAN party here in a few weeks, and we are setting up a firewall between the intranet and the internet. Only certain applications will be allowed to connect to the internet, but we would like to be able to listen to shoutcast streams. Port 80/http will be blocked to decrease traffic on the network.

What ports does winamp use to play shoutcast streams? All the information I have found has been for casting on ports 80/8000/8001 but I havent found any information on what ports winamp uses to connect to the servers on the local client machine.

Any help would be appreciated.
Thank You

Winamp doesn't use any specific port on the client end. Like most things, it picks a random one on the cleint end and connect to the server end on the port the server runs.

Is there any way to force a port? I noticed when I did a "netstat -a" that it was randomly choosing a port.

Nope.
