Winamp 5.22 not working
 

I'm using Winamp 5.22 with Boombox on a Gateway 835GM. All of a sudden it won't play anything on my playlist. I can't even get it to play any stations. I've read on the error report that Nullsoft has a fix for this but I can't find it. I tried an uninstall/reinstall but it didn't fix the problem.

Yeah, WA 5.22 is stuffed full of bugs. Just wait for 5.23.

So when can we expect 5.23?

I hope the next version happens soon, 5.22 never worked for my laptop (intel - xp home) or desktop (AMD - xp pro), looks like it wants to work but after fiddling with everything I can think of, nothing happens, maybe patching would be better.

I finally got it to work (for now). I uninstalled 5.22, cleaned up with Spybot and Ad-Aware, then reinstalled a new download of 5.22. I didn't tweak anything, just a new install. That seemed to work. I did it on my Gateway and Dell PC's, no more problems so far.

OdessaCubbage: you're becoming really annoying now with your 5.22 related comments, just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean everyone else has so keep it in mind the next time you start to post that again

Annoying? I stated first that I had a problem, and second that I had fixed it and described how. That could possibly help others. If you are annoyed at that you might want to spend your time elsewhere, and leave space for those who are helpful. Otherwise, just because you are annoyed doesn't mean others are annoying. Therapy could help.
