i can't seem to find any place to voice my opinions, apparently all topics are closed. :s

i really like to know what forces are behind all the changes with the new "improved winamp"? its sluggish, it isnt user friendly. and there is a huge outcry of "please make this more like the old version", and all i see are mods saying stuff like "if you don't like it, don't use it". we know that winamp is the only real game in town. but the customers are talking, man.

i applaud the DVTeam for trying to improve the program, but i'm POSITIVE that ppl would be happier in general putting up with the long close time, and fewer streams over the way its set up now.

i'm sorry, i dont think that the new winamp is good at all. and if i COULD vote on it, i'd vote accordingly.

i do have faith, tho. eventually all the bugs will be ironed out, and there will be more traffic in the services threads than the troubleshooting ones.

If you're referring solely to the Online Services feature/plugin in the Media Library, then did you read the two sticky threads at the top of this forum first?

All slowness/content intermittently not loading/error messages/etc related issues are serverside, and nothing to do with the Winamp client. All being well, said serverside issues will eventually be resolved.

If you read the stickys, you'll find that there is one thread still open (online services\shoutcast poll part deux) to discuss such matters.
