No Sound out of the sub, Rears

There's no sound coming out of my SUB subwoofer. That sucks :( There's no sound out of me rear speakers. Well when I go to CMSS there's sound in the rears but still none through the subs. When I use a digital connection, I do get sound from the sub but I guess that's something my receiver does since the digital coax only does Stereo or undecoded digital signals. Say I didn't have the digital plug to force the reciever to use dolby prologic or neo, how can I get sound from the sub. The sound I get doesn't sound crisp. Is there a way to get sound to the sub directly from winamp? Is there a way I can cut of low frequency from going to the other 4 channels? If I use the direct analog cables, it sound really good with the Incredibles DVD. If I put the equalizer like this:
- - _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ it will sound real horrible, I guess the speakers are getting too low of a frequency. I'm sorry if my writing isn't very organized, but that's not my forte.

By the way I don't really want sound from the center channel. I want sounds from the Rears but only if it's not out of phase and causes cancellation. Clarity is my priority. Oh yeah, and Bass too.

My Specs.
Winxp sp2 (dunno what's that good for)
Audigy 4
3 stero minijack to 2x Stereo RCA
Onkyo ht-s560 or ht-s570(forgot.) 5.1 system

Multiple Speaker Output

I've read that before. Like I said the CMSS does add a fader to the rear speakers, but it does nothing for my sub. By the way the sub works in DVDs and in the testing mode of the creative speaker settings.

DVDs have 5.1 channels. MP3s do not. They are only two channels. The Soundcard drivers should do the mixxing for the sub and a center channel.

shouldn't the player do the mixing? At least for the sub. OR one must painfully undo mixing so one can enjoy a 5.1 source?

Anyways how can I get the sub to work?

Never Mind I found the crossover for the sound card. It's under Speaker Settings on the Bass Management tab.
