Mmmmm, toasty…
  1. Winamp > Ctrl+P
  2. Plug-ins > General Purpose
  3. double click 'Toaster for Winamp'
  4. Display tab > uncheck 'Enable toasts'
If not that, maybe another notifier plug-in or a modern skins with a notifier.
