Explosions are not an exact science, and there are all sorts of variables that may lead to the explosion not directly killing someone.

In regards to my comment, you don't have to be non muslim to appreciate it. It just depends on what kind of Muslim you are, if you think the terrorists are working in Allah's will or against it.
