How do i connect?
 

im a DJ on a friends server. He can get in. But I cant. I put in the password and everything he has. But when i connect it says.... Connecting... then in a min it says Not connected.. What do i do? And i dont have a firewall..

then it is probably not you .... is your friend getting any nak errors in his dnas logs?

ok... well I also forgot that he needs to disconnect his current source in order to allow you to connect in the first place.

Are you sure your friend has the IP address, port, and password correct? Ip address can be checked at www.whatismyip.com, port can be verified as being open at www.canyouseeme.org (it also may be a good idea for you to check to see if the port you are trying to send out on is open as well).

you are clueless. whatismyip.com is not for YOU to connect, but for the internet users. you need to use your PC's ip address.

open a command prompt so you see something like c:\documents and settings....>
then type ipconfig /all

That is YOUR pc's address, if you run shoutcast on that PC , then that @#$@#$#@ ip address is what you need to forward to.

What did you get when you went to whatismyip.com ???
