Playlist problems

For some reason whenever I add new music to a playlist, it deletes all of the music already on the playlist. That's getting to be a bit of an annoyance and I'd like to know...

...what's the deal?

That's not a bug, that's what happens when you open a file.

Preferences > File Types > Enqueue as default action

If you're referring to adding files to playlists stored in the Media Library (as opposed to adding files in the Playlist Editor window) then that was a known bug in v5.2.3.669 (8th June) and is fixed in 5.2.3.672 (9th June).
