5.2 player has no sound at all; as if it is muted
 

I am not getting any sound from the new download, the cd' turns on my tool bar as if it is playing the song and the title pops up as always has, but no sound comes out. Other players not affliated with winamp play the songs fine, so it's not my sound driver. I use Cd Orginizer which I thought was the problem at first so I uninstalled it and reinstalled but it still isn't working. Should I have uninstalled any old files from my winamp folder, I never had to before? Could this be a bug? Is anyone having a simular problem and if so know a fix? If not I will continue to troubleshoot the problem and hopfully I will figure this out. Any advise would be helpful.
