No Music appears on iPod after 5.23
Hey all,
I just upgraded to 5.23 and now NONE of my music appears on my iPod. Winamp recognizes the device and all the music on it, but the device itself - nada. Any ideas how to fix this, cause right now the only thing my 30GB video iPod is good for is as a signalling mirror for low-flying airplanes. Thanks. |
What was your previous version of Winamp? Do you have ML_iPod plug-in? If so...
Current versions (5.2x) of Winamp already have portable media player support, which includes iPod. As noted by DJ Egg the use of both Winamp's default portable player support and the ml_ipod.dll causes conflicts. Try uninstalling ml_ipod.dll. |
I have the exact same problem, im using winamp 5.23 and without the 3rd party ipod plugin, just the standard portables thing, and now, either moving songs to the ipod doenst work, or when it does work they don't show up in the ipod itself, but the ipod does see that most of its space is in use, and when it is plugged in, in winamp it does show that there are songs on the ipod.

Well, I never found a solution - just had to restore the Pod using iPod updater. Then reload all the songs using iTunes. Now, 5.23 seems to work fine.

did you put your songs back with itunes or with winamp?
