How come I can't download anything from the main site?

when i click on plug ins or skins, nothing but the main menu and an ad banner shows up. the rest of the page is blank.

Try again in 10 minutes, site tends to hicup from time to time.

I woulda done it too... at least if I wasn't a regular site visitor. Now that I am I understand that it's only a temporary site problem and not something that needs to be asked about.
