The PGA's Latest Nutless Entry
Once again today, Michelle Wie has tried to make the cut in a men's golf tournament. In the opening round today at the John Deere Classic:igor:. She shot a +6 to end up in 151st place.
Wait, haven't you failed to even win a women's tournament yet? Here, I've got an idea! You can play golf with the men but Danica Patrick has to be your caddie. |
Yeah, her carrier up to this point doesn't make a whole lot of sense.
In any sport, and especially golf, you have to create an "attitude of winning". An "attitude of being greatly skilled" doesn't cut it. It's a shame to see her get mis-managed like this. |
Her parents "dropped the ball" so to speak.
They did, however, succeed in garnering millions for nothing. |
She's not unpleasant to look at, so I say "Let her play!".
And get rid of this guy: http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/1620/p1daly6qu.jpg |
I don't know about golf. Playing golf is fine, but dedicating years of your life to actually be really good at it?. It's like pool. To be really good, you have to play every day. Then after you spend all that time, you get to find out whether you are really any good. That's something you won't find out until you have played for several years.
With golf, playing pool and playing an axe, I have made this determination. I will never be better than competent at these. So, I will never be a rock star, minnesota fats or a golf pro. I guess I'll just have to concentrate on being handsome and charming :) |
so if women are allowed to enter the men's PGA then men should be allowed to enter the women's?

For a second there I thought I was looking at Chris Farley...
