Need a Media Player that Queues Next Song WIthout Starting It
 

I'm working with an old MIDI synth for a band. I'm writing up midi tracks. I want some media player that will allow me to create a playlist of files, play a song, then load the next one in the playlist but not start it until i say so by clicking or pressing enter or something.

Any ideas folks?

Winamp can do that.

Checkmark this option to make Winamp stop after each track:
Prefs (Ctrl+P) > Playlist > 'Manual playlist advance'

And optionally install Next on Stop (latest version) to advance to the next track automatically after playback stops, such that you only need to press play to continue with the next track.

Cool, I'll check out that NextOnStop, that's exactly what I wanted. The manual playlist doohickey doesn't do what I want; i have to click forward, then play... it's a pain live.
