Setup file failes to run

Hi all,

I've never had any problem with NSIS Installer but a few days ago I used the latest version to make a setup file for one of my products.

Two users reported that when they click the setup file absolutely nothing happens. The setup file loads perfectly on 3 machines I've tried and no other users have complained.

I scanned the files with different virus scanners and they are all clean.

Anybody with any such experience?

Ask them to try and disable any anti-virus applications running. It might be another false positive.

I re-compiled the setup file with version 2.14 of NSIS and he could run it without problems.
