Is it possible to.... (Ventrilo) YES! With instructions

I was wondering if it was possible to broadcast Winamp through Ventrilo somehow.
I searched Ventrilo forums and found this

Quote:

I do it, the easy way to do it is run a client with winamp, go to your computers audio properties (speaker in the system tray) and go to file>properties and then click the radio button labled "Recording" click OK and then where there are checkboxes labled "Select" select the channels, instead of microphone being selected select Wave/MP3 and then go into ventrillo and set Push to talk to off, then set sensitivity to 0 and silence time to .5 i've been doing it and it sounds great on vent running GSM
I'm a complete Winamp noobie, and I've searched the forums, the only relevant post I can find is this one:

I've already done that but when I broadcast, they tell me it's full of static. Also, I don't want them to be able to hear the rest of my pc noises,

Any ideas?

For those that have any questions about this, I'll post the steps I went through to FINALLY get it to sound good.
First off all, go into your WINDOWS SOUND MANAGER by double clicking your speaker icon.
Go to Options->Properties
Click on Recording
Check Stereo Mix
Click Okay
Make sure the check box on the Stereo bar by Select is checked.
Turn Stereo Mix volume to 100%
In Ventrilo click Setup
Under Mixer, select your soundcard
Mux should say "Recording Countrol"
Line is Stereo Mix
Line Volume is maxed
Turn outbound to -5
Disable push to talk
Silence time .5 seconds
Sensitivity 0
Click Okay
Turn winamp volume to 15%

You're ready to go!
