Remove Background Clutter
Hi,
I have been using WINAMP for a while but not to the level I think I need for this issue. A friend of mine recorded his daughter at a karaoke contest the other day with a digital camcorder. Of course, the audio portion is a bit muffled and there is background clutter, people talking, etc. I have been able using a separate utility to pull the audio off of the AVI video. Is there a way to remove some of this clutter and perhaps enhance the vocal/intrumental portion of the track? I realize it can't be perfect, but some improvement would be great. Any help would be appreciaed. Thanks. Greg |
use virtualdub to split the audio from tha avi and remux it later.
i don't know what dsp you could use to get rid of the noise. i'd start asking at the doom9 forums. |
Thanks. I was able to make some changes using the EQ and other EQ plugins. Whether or not they're better quality.
