WinAmp in a productive environment

Hello.

I would like to ask all of you who use winamp in a productive environment (like client workstations in companies etc) to post your expirience about your system stability and the influence of winamp on your work.

Don't get me wrong, i got adviced from one person that i shouldn't install winamp (or any other program of that kind) on network workstations if it isn't properly tested and shown as not being able to crash my client's computers. Also i got advised to install winamp on a computer and test it for about 2 weeks before i decide to put it on all other workstations. For how long did u test it?

Please take this seriously, i am a satisfied user of winamp, i'm just concerned about safety of my company network workstations.

Thanks in advance.

the only time anyone has any stability issues with winamp's default install is when they are running bad drivers or bad hardware.

if you keep winamp upto date, we fix any security bugs instantly.(none known at the moment)

just be a little careful with some of the third party plugins on winamp.com, as we can't really account for the programming that goes into them.(and some of them are ancient)

people run shoutcast streams with winamp running them for months on end.

normally running winamp on any system should work fine.
