Winamp 5.3: Portable Playlist Problem
Trying to figure out how portable playlists work. I have my Archos Gmini XS202S configured as a windows device, and it shows up as a portable in the Winamp media library. I can right click the entry and create a playlist. The playlist is obviously stored on the MP3 player (it shows up if I connect it to my wife's computer), but I can't find anyway to access the playlist on the player!
Am I missing something? Should I be exporting this playlist as an m3u somehow? |
Probably depends on how your portable works.
I assume your player is handled by pmp_usb? (you can check by looking in the root of the device, where you should see a file pmp_usb.ini) pmp_usb treats all supported players the same and puts a m3u file on the device if you create a playlist in Winamp via the Portables section. Whether your player actually supports playlists (in that specific format) is another matter. Check the documentation of your player. |
On closer examination, the playlists are available under the appropriate folder! Sorry to have taken up bandwidth!
