how many songs u have in ur pc

guys, how many songs u have in ur pc. I have aboutr 4000 mp3s..

ScorLibran 29th October 2006 07:09

I have none in my PC. It only has a 100 GB hard drive, and I have ~350 GB of music (encoded in FLAC). It's all stored on an external 400GB drive, and backed up to a duplicate drive once a month.

Just under 10,000 tracks. And 10% of them are Pink Floyd. :)

sgtfuzzbubble011 29th October 2006 07:29

7,800+ tracks.

Vie 29th October 2006 08:59

Probably only 1500.

zootm 29th October 2006 10:00

About 5000.

dentrino 29th October 2006 10:23

3500.

ElChevelle 29th October 2006 11:33

Please search before starting a new thread. This one's only been done a half dozen times. Also, if you were looking for IM chat, this isn't it. We, for the most part, spell out what we are trying to convey here.

However, since I am a reasonable guy, I'll respond:

-roughly 50,000 on 3 separate hard drives.

Feel the pwnage.....Arrrrrrrrr

zootm 29th October 2006 11:34

Aha, but all mine are legal!

ElChevelle 29th October 2006 11:40

Until I'm tried by a jury of my peers, so are mine;)

zootm 29th October 2006 12:09

Touché.

mysterious_w 29th October 2006 12:12

My main playlist is only about 550 songs.

deeder7001 29th October 2006 13:10

I'm fairly certain that that's not what you meant to type. Maybe ~2.5 x 1000 (or ~2.5 x 10^3)?

yep my bad I intended to put 2.5 x 10^3.I Had just woken up from a crazy little Halloween party last night when I posted that so I was and I am still feeling its aftereffects.

is there some form of extra credit I could do to make up for such an egregious oversight :D.

If you could buy me a hard drive capable of holding the original number of songs that you posted, that would be just fabulous.

I was at a stable 3.20 but have slipped to 2.92:(

Oops! I mean I've spent several million dollars on downloads;)

S-uper_T-oast 29th October 2006 19:36

A whole hell of a lot more then I could listen to in even one solid month of music listening.

3.258 potatos myself

S-uper_T-oast 29th October 2006 23:17

I was around 3.6, but my NAT issue seems to have returned which had brought me back down to around 3.0.

Very lame.

SSJ4 Gogitta 30th October 2006 09:35

A bit more than 5,000.

Warrior of the Light 30th October 2006 12:19

~1500

Omega X 30th October 2006 18:05

1000+

gaekwad2 30th October 2006 19:59

9854

xzxzzx 31st October 2006 13:26

About 2,000.

swingdjted 31st October 2006 23:00

Three radio stations (entire collections) worth plus my own original dj collection - mostly on dvdr's, but highlights on portable hard drives. Most of the tracks have never even been listened to, but I'm working on it...

I don't know quite how I'd count them without counting the tracks on each dvdr, so I'm going to guess and say around 200,000-300,000; none of which were ever downloaded from the internet!

xzxzzx 1st November 2006 13:44

200,000 to 300,000? That's over a year's worth of music!

swingdjted 1st November 2006 20:33

The classical/jazz section alone is probably more than a year's worth, considering the length of the tracks.

I was wondering that too. I have one Dell and two Sony PCs, but I figured those would be OK to comment on.

I also don't live with anyone named "U", but I also figured it'd be OK to speak just for myself.

ElChevelle 1st November 2006 23:16

Wut?

!!!!unlem!!!! 1st November 2006 23:49

Legal ~150

tuckerm 2nd November 2006 01:41

600ish.

eheiney 2nd November 2006 02:00

2039 songs, 99.461% of which are legal. :)

And I still have around 100 more CDs laying around to rip, but I'm extremely lazy.
