Admin Password
 

Yo people so far i have installed the shoutcast plug in ,
configured everything , i go to my DNS server webpage and i cant log in? WTF ?!??!?! How can i get the admin password!? And the other thing is that i sent other people my ip server and they cant hear it . it said the page cannot be opened pls ! help me pls ;)

dude you setup the admin password. edit the config file sc_serv.ini look for PASSWORD that line will have the password to STREAM with, and the line ADMINPASSWORD has the admin password

if the line reads ;ADMINPASSWORD , remove the ; first.

save the sc_serv.ini file, stop/restart shoutcast server

admin is the usedname
and whatever password.

FYI: you dont use the admin password to stream, you use the PASSWORD

thank but i havent got a sc_serv.ini file !?!? i have sc_serv
and also on the little screen on the gui dns is says winamp gave extended error cannot see your station ip , disabled internet sharing blocked by firewall, oh man pls explain it to me because i am very enthusiastic about a radio station cheers
