Buffering Issue

I wrote a post earlier about port forwarding, as I assumed that not having the ports forwarded caused my problem. Anyway, basically what's happening is, when a feed on shoutcast TV is buffering, a lot of the time it just stops buffering and doesn't continue. I end up having to click the feed again, forcing it to buffer again, but half the time the feed is full by that point.

Is there any reason why the feeds stop buffering part way through, and is there a way to fix this?

Please don't start a new thread about the same topic

your problem isn't a shoutcast problem but a problem on your end
you don't have the bandwitdth to view the station

thats all

Sorry, I thought that, as the first post was about port forwarding, and this one is about my issues with buffering, that it would be okay to start a new topic.

This problem didn't occur in the previous versions of winamp I've had. It's not a problem I've ever had before, and my connection hasn't changed.

What exactly do I need to ask about my winamp player?

Thanks for the response.

well if you are sure your end has more than enough bandwidth to support watching a tv station
it's another number of things that could be the problem
it could be on the end of the station
it could be a router matter.
etc etc

it boils down to the one and only clear fact.
this is not a problem that should be in this forum part
