!st entry in dropdown box is blank

When I give a dropdown dialog a list "opt1|opt2|opt3" it displays the first entry as blank when the installer runs. If you select something from the list the blank entry disappears. Is there a way to make it display the first entry in the list?

Set STATE to the first entry's text in the INI file.
