A way to test?
 

Hi i set up my shoutcast server @ http://72.249.12.166:8000 and i cant seem to connect from my winamp on my desktop!! Can someone help?

if your running the dsp on the same machine as the shoutcast server use 127.0.0.1 or localhost to connect the dsp to the server. listeners will use your "external" ip displayed above :)
