Weird Tremolo/Panning noises... ;_;

I don't know why winamp is doing this... I am using Windows Media Player now (:-(). I've been using Winamp since '98.

Problem

Whenever I play a song through winamp the sound moves in and out... Like panning into low then normal volumes. I've gone through DirectSound and everything. I am using my brand-new Dell Inspiron E1505 laptop. There shouldn't be a reason this isn't working. I'm pretty sure I didn't mess anything up... Someone please help me...

Is it possible, that you're using a DSP plug-in. You can check it in Preferences -> Plugins -> DSP/Effects.

Are you using any third party plug-in? Can you confirm a clean 5.31 install?

You should post more infos, otherwise we can't help you.

Just got a PM, that he was using a DSP plug-in mistenkenly. :)
