Title-Album-Artist
 

:igor: Is It possible to configure Winamp to show Title-Album -Artist name in the screen? I have that information coded in my files but Winamp scrolls: My Music (Where folder is located) and song title only.
Any help is appreciated. Also if there is a way could you be very specific with any directions on how to set up?

Prefs->Titles

Changed "Advanced title format display" to
%title%-%album%-%artist%

did not work
 

Thank you for your reply but it did not work. I get an error wrong syntax or something on most files & on the rest it just reordered the folder name & file name. Are there brackets or something that need to be included? How exactly should it look? Also when I try to add media to the library it opens the folder menu and when I select the folder with the music I want to add it does not open the file list. If I just select the folder & OK it just transfers the folder name without any music files. I like winamp's sound & many of the features but am having a lot of trouble setting up my playlists etc.

Winamp > Prefs > Titles

Copy+Paste in the following text into the Advanced Title Formatting field.
(drag the mouse cursor to select the text > ctrl+c to copy)

[$if2(%title%,$filepart(%filename%)) - ][%album% - ][%artist%]


To add files to the Media Library database, click the Library button at the bottom left of the Media Library, then click "Add Media to Library".
Browse to and select the relevant folder, then click OK
To rescan, click Library button, then Rescan Watch Folders.


To create/add playlists, right-click "Playlists" in the left pane of the Media Library,
select 'New Playlist'
Name it accordingly and click OK
Then left-click the new playlist title node underneath
then click the Add button at the bottom of the right pane to add files/folders.
