Burning Shn Files
 

Hi I have used Winamp for a long time to burn shn files to CD - have downloaded the shn plugin to do so - Just recently have tried to burn shn files - loaded into winamp as normal ... the first file gets checked and completes and then everything stops. winamp wont move onto the next file - try cancel burning ... won't cancel - have to resort to control/alt/delete to stop the burn and stop winamp.... please advise what I am doing wrong.... have even gone so far as to uninstall winamp twice ... downloaded new version and still same thing happens.

Several members have experienced problems with the ShnAmp plugin since Winamp was upgraded to 5.31. See here for discussion. Do you have "Shorten for Windows" installed on your hd? I use it to convert shn to wav for burning purposes because I havn't been able to directly burn shns for a while.

With compatability problems beginning to surface I am converting all shn shows I download to flac before archiving. I guess at some point it would be wise to convert all my archived shn shows to flac. Not something I look forward to.
