2 computers
 

is it possible to play the exact same thing on 2 computers in the house at the exact same time. meaning No time delay.

I have tried the few plugins that say they do this...I've stopped following progress of the 2 i found, but googling comes up with a few possibilities:

WinampSync
NetSync
winamp netsync

some good reading

I've personally had good results with winamp netsync and the author if i remember will reply to emails and maybe he is still working on it and its not published.

NetSync seems to be the most recently updated plugin...

okay after playing with the different software for a bit, I think it is great, but it is lacking 1 very important thing, it is not automated, you actually have to start playing the same song on both computers and then hit sync. They sinc perferctly, but that defetes my intentions, I would like it so that 1 computer automatically notices what is being played and plays it as well. this way if you change songs, the other computer follows.

as far as i know, the above software is all that is available.

of course there are also plugins that allow you to control winamp from a different computer...

plugin search was broke when i tried to use it, so i used google to browse the plugins

I also wish someone could come up with something easier to use.
