MP4 Video Problems
 

I know, it's a Problem that had been shown here many times, but I don't understand the other threads because they are hard to read (for a german^^').

My Problem is, that I get the audio of the MP4 files, but not the video. I have this ffshown(or whatsever its name was) but I don't understand the Haali site.
Can someone please give me an EASY explanation?

Der Download Link auf Haali's Seite ist rechts oben (heisst immer noch Matroska Splitter weil er zuerst nur für das Format gemacht war).

Wenn Du den Splitter installiert hast, starte Winamp und drücke STRG-P*. Gehe zu plug-ins > input, doppel-klick auf "Nullsoft DirectShow Decoder" und füge ;MP4 zur "extensions list" hinzu.

*oder rechts-klick irgendwo auf Winamp > Options > Preferences

Do you have the latest versions of ffdshow (link) and Winamp (5.31)?
Any third-party plugins installed?

Other than that, not sure...
Are you sure the files contain video?

yes, I have all of that!
and the videos are allright, they work at my friends...

HEY the problim still isn't solved!
Don't has ANYONE has ANY idea what the problem could be?

Zunächst:
Hast Du zusätzliche plugins oder nicht?
Falls ja, versuch am besten eine saubere Neuinstallation*.

Falls das nicht hilft:
Welche "File info" Anzeige erscheint, wenn Du eins dieser Videos startest und anschliessend alt-3 drückst?
(Es müsste "DirectShow file info" sein, wenn ja schreib bitte auf welche Filter angezeigt werden.)

Laufen die Videos in anderen Playern (Windows Media Player etc.)?

Zusätzlich, vor allem falls die Widergabe in Winamp über DirectShow läuft und in anderen Playern auch nicht funktioniert, könnte vielleicht auch GraphEdit helfen, herauszufinden woran es liegt.
Zieh eins der Videos ins GraphEdit Fenster und schau nach welche Filter dort angezeigt werden.

*gegen komische � Symbole im dem alten Thread hilft, die Zeichenkodierung im Browser auf western/westlich umzustellen (zumindest in Firefox & Opera)

Winamp ist frisch neuinstalliert... hatte es mir erst 2 tage vorher gezogen...

bei Video info" steht bei mir:
unknown, 1455.495 secs, 0 kbps, 0x0 @ 24.47 fps

In anderen playern laufen sie auch nicht...

Hm? Graph edit spielt das video problem los ab °°
