Rip CD to MP4 Bug - Tracks overwriten / deleted for each track rip

Hi , New to WINAMP, purchased and installed running today. When ripping from CD to MP4 under default install settings, tracks are ripped to directory and then over written by next track. I end up with the last CD track rip only. I watched the directory in File Manager [explorer] to see this occur. Changed encoding to MP3 and CD ripping works as it should.. I get xx rip files in the deposited directory which is good. Change format back to MP4-LC-ACC and fault occurs again. Played with settings and now the last rip file is deleted all together. left with no files in DIR!!. I believe the after the first track is ripped i.e. track 01], it is then deleted, next track is ripped [i.e. Track 02] and it too is deleted. Settings "out put file settings" - "Tagging Settings" - first two check box's ticked, last two blanked. Please feel free to respond with a solution.. Bugger having to rip to MP3... MP4 is the reason why I invested in this product. Cheers SEP

Strange... it all works fine here.

Could you please copy+paste here what you've got in your 'Specify destination folder' and 'Specify naming convention' fields (Prefs > CD Ripping > Output File Settings tab).

Is 'Read audio data using Sonic engine' checkmarked in the Ripping tab?

Is all the metadata filled in (artist, album, track titles, etc) by cddb prior to ripping (ie. the correct tags are shown in Media Library > Rip & Burn > CD drive > right pane?)

Please also attach a List of Plugins to your reply.

Hi, thanks for your prompt reply

SORRY FOR WASTING YOUR TIME. I HAVE JUST TRYED AGAIN BEFORE SENDING THIS, CHANGED ENCODEING TO MP4 AND IT WORKS. NO IDEA WHY IT IS WORKING TODAY AND FAILED YESTERDAY. I HAVE NOT CHANGED ANY SEETINGS SINCE FAILURE.

ISSUE CLOSED. CHEERS SEP

Out put under MP3 encoding for first few tracks is as follows:

25/11/2006 09:50 PM 1,390,592 01 - Track 1.mp3
25/11/2006 09:50 PM 673,792 02 - Track 2.mp3
25/11/2006 09:50 PM 393,216 03 - Track 3.mp3
25/11/2006 09:50 PM 931,840 04 - Track 4.mp3

Namming convention = <Artist> - <Album>\## - <Title>

YES : 'Read audio data using Sonic engine' checkmarked

YES : All info presented: Is all the metadata filled in (artist, album, track titles, etc) by cddb prior to ripping

What I see is this file is created 01 - Track 1.mp4, then deleted after creation
