Winamp, PSP & APE ?
 

I'm trying to use Winamp with my PSP. Most of the music on my computer is stoped in Monkey's Audio (APE) format. Can I send files to my PSP and have them automatically convert to MP3 (or other compatible) format?

At present when I try to do this I get a "Some of the tracks were of an incompatible format and cannot be transferred" error. I have tried playing around with the Transcoding preferences but this seems not to help - or I'm not doing it correctly (more likely).

i don't think the monkeys audio plugin supports the transcoder properly.

so i suggest you complain to the monkeys audio dev's or make a new plugin if your so inclined.

or

convert all your files to the flac format(you will loose no audio quality in this process)
