Great Actress / Singer
 

I was wondering. do you think it's possible to be a great actress & a singer
at the same time. And which female actress/singer do you think has the best
acting AND singing talent?


I started thinking about this after I found out that Jennifer Landon
(daughter of Michael Landon of 'Highway to Heaven', 'Little House on the
Prairie', & 'Bonanza' fame) who followed her dad's acting career and really
did well in the daytime soap AWS (As the World Turns) went on to launch a
singing career. I believe she only has 1 song out right now, called Slide,
but it's really good. You can check it on iTunes if you like.

Not that I'm a certified country music fan (I do like some of it),
but to me Reba McEntire is probably one of the best actress/singers.
Her voice is awsome as evidenced by all her #1 hits on Billboard over the years.
Her acting in movies and on TV is also remarkable for a country girl from Oklahoma.
To make her acting even more remarkable is her work on Broadway.
It takes quite a talented actor/actress to make the jump
from film or TV to live Broadway shows.
She easily did it and got all kinds of accolades for her performances.

I like paul oakenfold's song with britany murphy.

but with one song she's hardly a singer. I'd like to hear more.

she's a fantastic actress.

Are you talking about "Faster Kill Pussycat"? Yes, she's a good singer, but the song itself is terrible; *blech*. :down: I hear it all the time on the radio and it's driving me nearly to insanity.

I think you can be both but honestly I havent found an actress/singer that can have both abilitly's well its either they stink at singing and good actress or the other way around!
